HISTORICAL Launching of WISE

To God be the glory for the historical launching of the First Domestic Violence Shelter in Nigeria via WISE. The mission of the non profit organization is to provide a safe haven for abused women while nurturing their mental, medical and psychological health for a period of few days to six months. The women are thereby trained in vocational skills and job placement opportunities with start up packages.

As a Diasporan that have been warned not to do anything back home due to the bureaucracy that will frustrate one’s good intentions, I am glad that I was given support by some great people. When you intend to do good, don’t expect 100% support but if you have 25% run with it!
